Meet Mickie Logan

Welcome! I'm so grateful to be a part of the team and helping others access the care and resources they need. I started my journey in the counseling world a few years ago, getting my bachelor's in psychology from Arizona State. I love being able to connect with others and have developed a passion for being there for those in need. I'm excited to be returning to school to gain more skills and experience in the field, but while I do that, I'm grateful to be able to connect you with our licensed counselors and get you the help you're looking for. Through my undergraduate education, I gained experience teaching incarcerated youth, children with special physical and cognitive needs, and other K-12 students.

I've also worked with families and communities across the country, helped manage and guide my peers during performance contracts, provided counseling services for individuals in mental health crisis, and advocated for survivors of domestic violence. I've also been fortunate enough to travel abroad, learning about and interacting with a variety of different cultures, offering incredible insight and providing me with a profound love for the uniqueness of everyone's story.

When I'm not with Anchor of Hope, you can catch me in one of the many coffee shops in town reading or writing, spending time with my husband, Tanner, enjoying local beaches, or performing with my friends on a stage nearby. To get connected with our counselors, please contact us at [email protected] or (616) 251-1966 to get started on your healing journey.
